I wondered at first if my reaction towards you was a reminder of the past

Or maybe it was a desire for the future

With time, it was impossible to gauge the difference between the two

I decided it was a glimmer, based on the glimmer that inhabited my eyes

It happened overnight

You happened overnight

My heart poured overnight

An interaction between two pupils that felt accidental yesterday was a treasure today

A treasure that was lost with time

You dissipated into thin air, leaving me with my questions, my feelings, my past and hope for the future

I'm still here but the glimmer in my eyes left with you
