Once I had this moment

Where I thought the world would open up and take me with it

When I felt like I was losing myself in the waves of life

Where I lost control

But then I waited

I waited for the person I trusted most with my vulnerability

And they found me

They helped me escape the world that was crashing into me

And made me realise I could get through it instead of letting it go through me

I still think you should’ve been there like you promised though

Because you promised

But i guess to you a promise is a lie
